I can’t resist an interesting bit, and this mother of pearl pendant fits the bill. I found this piece as a brooch, then removed the pin and added a 9ct bale to the top. I love the way this piece catches the light. The intricate floral carving is in excellent condition and is luminous even in dim lighting. The other of pearl carving is set in an intricate gilt metal frame. This isn’t a “serious” piece per se, but it is seriously beautiful.
Showing it on an antique trace chain (also listed) but I think it would look equally gorgeous on a ribbon - particularly for the holidays.
