Connemara marble has been mined in the west of Ireland since the 19th century and considered to be a good luck. Pigs have been a sign of good luck throughout the ages, and "lucky pig" charms were particularly popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This tiny pig features a silver band and 9ct gold bale. A sweet, wonderful little talisman.
