Just the cutest, tiniest little c. 1850 carnelian sunrise seal. I’m a sucker for tiny details, as they’re they somehow feel very personal to the wearer. Without veering too far into sappy territory, I love to find pieces with which I connect, and wearing a tiny sunrise just feels quite hopeful. Also… it’s just plain cute!
Wearing it here on a thicker chain and I love how it holds its own, despite its diminutive size. The large bale will work on a variety of chain sizes. The setting is in gilded metal, in excellent condition, with minimal loss to the gilding.
