For those of you who seek out unique charms, I have not found another one like this in all of my hunts. This charm is a tiny version of an aide memoire, or decorative writing pad. Aide memoires were often worn on chatelains - belts or chains holding miniature versions of useful tools - essentially the Swiss army knives of Victorian times. This tiny version displays floral engraving on the front and back, and several celluloid pages on which you are welcome to jot down your (tiny) shopping list, as needed.
The small bale can be clipped onto a dog clip, or worn over a more delicate chain. If you would like to add a larger jump ring, please contact me, and I can have this done.
Overall, just a super cool, unique little pendant.
