Now a note on age and provenance. This piece is not hallmarked though it was found through a trusted source of antique silver. I found this piece from a favourite silver source and shared it with another trusted dealer who has a wealth of knowledge. The consensus, based on the subject, craftsmanship and style is that it is late Victorian and potentially not English. So as we don’t have hallmarks to tell the story, “beautiful, old, acorn bangle” will just have to suffice. I, for one, can live with that! 18cm.
