One of the best intaglio rings I have found to date. This super chunky gold ring was made in 1956, using an earlier c. 1900 carnelian intaglio. The intaglio is in impeccable condition and features a pair of lovebirds with wings wrapped and beaks facing one another. The ring weights in at a tick under 8 grams and is substantial enough to work on larger fingers. I think this would make an incredible alternative to an engagement ring!
