Sharing a proper antique knuckle duster in the form of a massive c. 1930 aquamarine ring. The aquamarine weights in at 18.3 carats and has been removed from the setting and polished to perfection. The stone is a gorgeous light, clear blue that picks up the light brilliantly. The stone has been reset and the original setting has been tightened to ensure that the stone is set securely.

The top of the ring was hand carved in platinum and features rose cut diamonds set within filigree swags and scrolls, finished with millegrain edging - the labour that went into making this is just astounding.

The bottom of the structure and the band are made from 9ct yellow gold. The ring is unmarked and the setting is very unique, which makes me think that this would have been a custom piece for a client.

The under frame of the ring is curved so as to hug the finger, so while the stone is large, it will not move when the band is sized correctly.

Simply put - I love this ring!
