This is bar none, one of the most unique rings I have found to date. The silver ring is comprised of a horseshoe with two horse hooves holding it on either side. The horseshoe is faced up to “hold” the luck of the wearer, and bears the lucky number 7 nails on the shoe.
Long ago, this ring was gilded. The building is now all but gone, but the resulting colour is a soft, beautiful silver that sits surprisingly well with gold.
Sadly the date year was lost in a resizing, but the ring is in very good condition and is ready for years of wear.
Weight: 2.87 grams
Size: N+/7
Color: The ring is antique silver but was originally gilded. The gilding has mostly worn off leaving a gorgeous, soft silver colour.
Condition: Very good antique contain. Interior evidence of resizing has removed the date letter.
Markings: Interior hallmarks for Birmingham and silver lion passant mark.
