This locket backed 15ct pendant was initially a brooch. I removed the pin, added a bale, and voila - a serious statement pendant, with room for sentiment in the photo frame on reverse. I love anything Etruscan Revival, and this piece has all the bells and whistles - a flawless enamel and pearl star, and incredible details in the surrounding frames. The pendant is made from 15ct gold, which was bloomed, or lightly coated in higher carat gold for a sunny matte finish. Some of the blooming has worn over time giving the piece and excellent patina.
The reverse of the pendant features an original photo-ready frame complete with the original frame securing piece and a perspex photo cover.
Just an all around, vibrant statement piece.
Materials: 15ct gold, enamel, pearls, perspex locket cover
Size: Pendant is 28mm wide, and 43cm long, excluding bale. 50 cm including bale.

Condition: Good antique condition - some wear to the high carat finish (which I think adds to the piece), wear to edges commensurate with age (missing several mm of rope detailing on outer edge, nibble out of perspex cover (shown).
