As always, I love a good bit of black and white Victorian mourning sentiment and this little locket delivers. The front features a broken column encircled by a garland of forget me nots. The broken column typically signified that a pilar of a family had passed.
The reverse features a branch of calla lilies, which symbolised hope for rebirth. There is a small cartouche at the bottom that could be engraved.
The interior of the locket has the original photo frames and fabric backing intact. One side has a perspex cover, which can be left in or removed.
