I don’t usually go for heart jewellery, but I immediately fell in love with this c. 1880 enamel heart necklace. The enamelled 9ct gold links are interspersed with tiny seed pearls and the piece closes with a barrel clasp. The heart pendant has a beautiful amethyst cabochon surrounded by seed pearls, and has a quatrefoil infinity knot on the reverse. Just an all around beautiful, sentimental piece.
