I am a sucker for details and this ring is full of them. This 18ct and pearl band commemorates the life of one John Freeman, Esq, who was born in 1797 and died in 1853, one year after this ring was produced. The ring has three lovely natural pearls, and traces of the original black and white enamelling on the shoulders. The pearls have worn over the years, producing some colour variation, which does not detract from the beauty of the ring.
The ring is fully hallmarked for Charles Kay, London, 1852.
Material: 18ct gold, enamel, pearls.
Size: 6.5/M+ Can be resized.
Condition: Good antique condition. Enamel loss and pearl wear commensurate with age.
